چکیده

This paper presents a third-order Butterworth low-pass filter (LPF) with continuously tuning capability to be used in the receiver front-end for Wireless Body Area Network (WBAN). To realize bandwidth multi-standard operation WBAN receivers ultra-low power consumption and minimized area, novel transconductor-capacitor (Gm-C) is proposed. The proposed transconductor core uses an additional gain stage regulated cascode structure control transconductance ( $G_{m}$ ) by drain-source voltage $V_{ds}$ of input transistors operating linear region. Based on fundamental analysis, should reduced attenuate nonlinear effects caused higher-order harmonic components. circuit enables widens range while maintaining good linearity negligible area consumption. work then implemented into LPF. Measurements show that external varying from 450 mV 550 mV, cutoff frequency LPF can adjusted 20 MHz 80 MHz. design 40 nm CMOS process 1.1 V supply voltage. total this below 2 mW active 0.0105 mm 2 . Its low efficiency makes suitable applications.

A CMOS/SOI Continuous-Time Low-Pass gm-C Filter

This paper describes a preliminary comparative analysis between continuous-time gm-C filters based on a specific transcondutor but designed according to CMOS/bulk (conventional) and CMOS/SOI fabrication processes. A compensation technique to minimize the phase-error (lead-phase) of the basic integrator owing to the relatively high output-conductance of the adopted transconductor is examined. Su...
